Hi,

I am Robin and happy to introduce myself.

I have to say I’m so very proud of my niece, Alli; she is a beautiful, caring and spiritual young woman. What she witnessed from my abusive life growing up made such an impact on her life, that she found good in it to aid and support others in abusive lives.

​

I want everyone to know I am blessed to have an awesome sister Lisa, which is Alli’s mother.  My sister and brother-in-law took me in every time without judging me to keep me and my children safe.

​

Everyone’s situation is different; abuse comes in many forms, which you all know is physically, mentally and verbally, and to all, it hurts. I experienced all three and a struggle for 20 years before leaving.  It was not easy and was a battle, physically and emotionally.  I chose to make a better life for me and my children and LIVE.

​

Today, I can say I’m a survivor and all I went through has a purpose. It all happened for creating Resurrecting Robin and I feel honored to share with you. I am married now for over 15 years to a wonderful man who loves, respects and appreciates me and loves my children as his own.  I’m no longer afraid and wondering what form of abuse this day will bring and my plan for survival.

We all grew up with dream for our future and being abused was not one of them.
